FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers on product selection, material compatibility and quotation requirements.
Fuel Storage
Questions on flexible fuel bladders, fuel compatibility and quotation inputs.
What is a fuel bladder?
A collapsible flexible tank for temporary, auxiliary or mobile fuel storage. It folds for transport and is manufactured to project-specific capacity, fittings and material requirements.
Can a fuel bladder store diesel or gasoline?
Fuel bladders can be configured for diesel or gasoline, but the TPU formulation and complete configuration must be confirmed for the exact fuel and project. Polyester TPU is used for diesel and is not suitable for gasoline. Gasoline requires a polyether TPU configuration; one configuration does not suit every fuel.
What details are needed for a fuel bladder quote?
Fuel type, required capacity, quantity, fittings and destination. Material compatibility must be confirmed per project.
Water Storage
Questions on potable use, materials and water bladder applications.
Can water bladders store drinking water?
Potable-water use requires separate project review. Material, inner surface, fittings and required food-contact documentation must be confirmed before quotation. Standard water bladders are not automatically drinking-water grade.
What materials are water bladders made from?
PVC is used for non-potable and general temporary storage. TPU, including polyether TPU, may be considered for higher requirements or potable-water applications, subject to review. Material is confirmed against the water type and environment.
Can water bladders store firefighting water?
Yes. Firefighting-water storage is an application, but no firefighting certification or approval is claimed.
Aquaculture Tanks
Questions on fish farming tank structure, sizes and installation.
What are FUUSHAN fish farming tanks made of?
A galvanized-steel frame (sheet panels or pipe frame) with a flexible liner. Liner material and weight are confirmed against the application.
What sizes are available?
For galvanized-sheet round tanks, the current reference range is approximately 3–11 m diameter, 0.95–2.8 m height, 7–266 m³ capacity. Pipe-frame and collapsible ranges are confirmed separately.
Why are bottom valves installed on site?
Pre-installed bottom valves can be damaged by folded-liner compression during transport, so they are recommended for customer installation on site.
Spill Containment
Questions on spill berms, structures and drive-in use.
What is a spill containment berm?
A portable secondary-containment product that captures leaks, drips and overflow under or around equipment, drums, tanks and vehicles. It is not a primary storage tank or transport container.
What types of berms does FUUSHAN make?
Galvanized-steel pipe frame, L-bracket, foam-wall, soft sponge-wall (0.1 m height limit) and one-piece berms.
Can vehicles drive into a berm?
Foam-wall berms are designed for drive-in use with frequent access. Other structures are selected by the containment and traffic requirements.
Biogas Products
Questions on biogas storage bags and digester bags.
What biogas products does FUUSHAN make?
Two confirmed groups: cylindrical biogas storage bags for gas collection, and square digester bags for organic-waste digestion.
What material is used for biogas bags?
PVC is the default material, typically 0.9 mm. Outdoor exposure, flame-retardant and corrosion-resistance requirements can be reviewed; availability, performance data and documentation are confirmed per project.
What biogas pressure details are required?
Operating and test-pressure requirements must be reviewed separately for each project. No standard operating-pressure rating is assumed from public pages.
Materials and Compatibility
Questions on TPU materials and how compatibility is confirmed.
How do polyester and polyether TPU differ?
Polyester TPU is used for diesel and is not suitable for gasoline. Gasoline requires a polyether TPU configuration, which may also be considered for diesel, subject to confirmation. Selection depends on the medium, environment and project conditions.
How is material compatibility confirmed?
The exact medium, concentration, temperature and exposure conditions are reviewed per project. We do not assume a single configuration suits every medium.
Manufacturing and Quality
Questions on how products are made and inspected.
How are FUUSHAN products manufactured?
Material preparation, cutting, hot-air welding, fitting installation, inspection and packing are carried out in house. Where specified, an additional welded layer reinforces the main seam to reduce leakage risk during normal use. This is not a zero-leakage guarantee.
What inspections are carried out before packing?
Material, seam, valve/fitting and finished-product checks are completed before packing. Any required certification must be confirmed for the order.
Packing and International Shipping
Questions on export packing and documented container volume.
How are products packed for international shipment?
Products are folded, protected and prepared for export packing, with container loading coordinated for each destination. Packing details are confirmed with each order.
Is packing volume documented?
Yes, packing is documented per order. Preliminary volume estimates depend on product size, quantity and configuration. Final packed volume is confirmed after actual packing.
Customization and Quotation
Questions on what information is needed and project timing.
What details are needed for a quotation?
Provide the medium or intended use, capacity or dimensions, quantity, fittings, destination country and expected schedule. The application and required capacity are reviewed before a configuration is recommended.
How long does a project take?
Timing is confirmed for each project based on configuration, production scheduling and delivery coordination. There is no standard lead time.
