What to Prepare

Six project inputs help us review the product, configuration and delivery requirements before quotation.

Project basics

Product and medium

Product type, exact stored medium or intended use, and application context.

Sizing

Capacity and dimensions

Required volume, available installation area and site constraints.

Planning

Quantity and arrangement

Number of units, unit arrangement and project phasing where applicable.

Connections

Fittings and connections

Valve, inlet, outlet, port size and matching equipment requirements.

Site conditions

Operating environment

Indoor or outdoor use, ground conditions, handling and containment needs.

Delivery

Destination and schedule

Destination country, delivery terms, purchasing schedule and packaging needs.

Scope note: The list below applies to custom quotations for flexible tanks and containment products. Every project is reviewed individually; not every item applies to every product.

Provide the product or application, exact stored medium or intended use, capacity or dimensions, quantity, connections and delivery country. Add site conditions, target schedule and required documents where known.

Why These Details Matter

Capacity, material, fittings and packing are confirmed for each project. These details define the quotation.

1. Product and Stored Medium

  • Product type (fuel bladder, water bladder, fish farming tank, berm, biogas bag)
  • Exact stored medium, fuel type and grade if available, water source, or other liquid
  • Intended application
Product category
Important application information
Fuel bladder
Exact fuel type, grade or known blend
Water bladder
Water source, intended use and potable-water requirement
Fish farming tank
Species, production stage, water system, diameter and height
Spill berm
Containment target, exact liquid, footprint and access type
Biogas product
Gas source, known composition, operating pressure and installation arrangement

Compatibility and production feasibility are reviewed separately. Providing project details does not confirm that a medium or application can be supported.

2. Capacity and Dimensions

  • Required total capacity or planned volume
  • Available installation area
  • Preferred dimensions or site constraints

For fuel or water storage projects, estimate initial capacity from verified daily consumption, days between replenishment and an operational reserve. Aquaculture tanks, spill containment berms and biogas products require application-specific sizing.

3. Quantity and Arrangement

  • Number of units
  • Single large unit or multiple smaller units
  • Project phasing, if any

Why: quantity affects production planning, packing and container loading.

4. Fittings and Connections

  • Valve, inlet and outlet requirements
  • Connection types (for example Camlock, quick connections)
  • Port sizes and positions, if specified
  • Matching equipment details (pumps, hoses, watering or transfer systems)

Why: fittings must match the equipment installed on site.

5. Operating Environment

  • Indoor or outdoor use
  • Ground and surface conditions
  • Expected ambient conditions
  • Handling and relocation needs
  • Secondary containment requirements, where applicable

Why: site conditions affect configuration and protection, including indoor or outdoor use, abrasive ground and frequent relocation.

6. Destination and Schedule

  • Destination country and delivery terms
  • Expected purchasing or delivery schedule
  • Packaging requirements, if any

Why: destination, schedule and trade terms guide export packing, container planning and delivery coordination.

What If Details Are Missing?

Send the details you have. We identify what else is needed before confirming a configuration and quotation.

Some details, such as the exact stored medium, required capacity and destination, may still be necessary before a formal quotation can be issued.

Quick Answers

Do I need a complete specification?

No. Start with the product type, intended application, capacity or dimensions, quantity and destination. Additional details must be confirmed before a formal quotation is prepared.

Can I get a price for a standard size?

Material, dimensions, fittings, quantity, packing and destination can all affect the quotation, so pricing is confirmed for the project configuration.

How long does a quotation take?

Review time depends on the project details provided and any information still needed.

Does the quotation include packing and delivery?

Packing requirements are reviewed with the quotation, which should state the confirmed method and whether packing costs are included. Freight, customs charges and delivery are included only where the stated trade or delivery terms provide for them.

Next Step

Send the stored medium, required capacity or dimensions, quantity, fittings, operating environment and destination country. We review the project and prepare a quotation with the confirmed configuration.
